The soccer gods may be smiling down on Inter Miami.

After winning the 2024 Supporters Shield and clinching the all-time single-season league points record, some more good news and vibes have graced the team.

Just recently, the team posted a series of photos on X stating that Argentine attacker Facundo Farias has returned to full team training. The 22-year-old suffered a season-ending knee injury in during Inter Miami’s early 2024 pre-season tour.

Before the injury, the forward was a revelation for Tata Martino’s coaching staff, offering flair, dynamism, and that creative spark alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets.

With Miami comfortably in the playoffs, and looking to wrap up their opening-round series against Atlanta United this upcoming weekend, it’s never too early to look at the Heron’s offensive options heading into 2025.

La Familia will be eager to see if Farias can pick up where he left off - or, if he can come back even stronger.

For Inter Miami, though Farias’ injury was a major setback, his designation on the Season Ending Injury List allowed Miami to acquire U22 signing Federico Redondo.

As for Farias, his footwork, attacking positioning and pace quickly made him a fan favorite, where he managed to score three goals and assist once in eleven MLS matches.

The biggest question for the youngster for next year is: What can they expect from him on his return?

Inter Miami has experience nursing players back to full health after serious knee injuries. Left-back Franco Negri, center-back Ian Fray, and other Miami players have made full recoveries after suffering such an injury.

That bodes well for Farias next season.

For a team looking to stamp their dominance on Major League Soccer, his return could be the boost they need in 2025. A reinvigorated Farias will be yet another high-powered attacking option alongside players like Messi, Matias Rojas, Luis Suárez, Leonardo Campana, and Robert Taylor.
