It has been known for a while now that a new version of the Club World Cup will be introduced in the Summer of 2025, with 32 of the best teams from all six different continents. The tournament will be hosted in the United States of America from June 15th until July 13th, with the final being at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The groups will be split into eight, with each containing four teams. The top two will advance to the round of 16 where a group winner will be paired against the next group’s runner-up. (E.g. winner of Group A will play runner-up of Group B and vice versa). Like in the ‘normal’ World Cup, it will be straight a knockout to the next round, with Extra-Time and penalties needed if necessary, unlike the UEFA Champions League where it is a two-legged affair.

In this article i am going to tell you all you need to know about Inter Miami’s three opponents that they will have to try and beat to get out of a difficult Group A. Inter Miami qualified for the tournament via winning the 2024 MLS Supporters Shield for the first time, which is the regular league season before the Play-Offs of the MLS Cup, which the Heron’s failed to win.
