Paul Pogba is returning to football.

On Friday, October 4th, the Court of Arbitration for Sport stated that the French midfielder would be able to return to the field in March 2025, shaving off a few years of his initial four-year sentence for doping.

As the ex-Manchester United man works to regain his physical fitness and rebuild his career, could he continue his footballing exports in Major League Soccer?

Though it’s still too early to say, and Pogba may want to continue playing at the highest level, Inter Miami has made it a point to bring world-class players to South Florida over the last year.

The David Beckham-owned club already has a roster boasting the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suárez, and Jordi Alba. Pogba could see the Herons as an ideal platform to get his career back on track.

Of course, Inter Miami's front office would want to strengthen its squad, looking to add more silverware to its trophy cabinet, just recently clinching the 2024 Supporter’s Shield.

If Pogba were to join the South Florida side in 2025, it could signal a new chapter in the 31-year-old’s career.

With MLS becoming an attractive destination for European superstars, the move could offer Pogba an environment to rediscover his form while expanding the club and league’s global appeal - something Messi has done for over a year.

While this is all speculation, the possibility of seeing a player of Pogba’s caliber in the pink and black of Inter Miami is an exciting prospect for fans and pundits alike.
