Inter Miami Has A Lot of Old… But Some New

One good thing about Inter Miami’s schedule for the 2024 season is that every match will be available on Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass.

That means all 34 MLS matches — 17 home and 17 away — will be easy to view if you can’t make the trek to DRV PNK Stadium or have enough frequent flyer miles to traverse the entire Eastern Conference.

Inter Miami will take on all 14 of its Eastern Conference foes twice — home and away — during the 2024 season.

That’s nothing new.

But, they do have three teams they’ve never faced before in club history on the slate.

The first will be the season opener on February 21 against Real Salt Lake.

Real won the MLS Cup in 2009 and finished as runners-up in the Supporter’s Shield standings in 2010 and 2013.

During the 2010-11 season, Real Salt Lake was the runner-up in the Concacaf Champions League — becoming the first MLS side to reach that far.

The club has been in existence since 2004 and finished fifth in the Western Conference regular-season standings.

In the first round of the MLS Cup, Real Salt Lake was knocked out by Houston Dynamo FC in the first round.
