Inter Miami announced Miami Freedom Park as their new home as of 2026.
The city of Miami is turning pink. Bringing football stars like Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suarez boosted the club's popularity. With these superstars, Inter Miami has set a new objective for the club. The Herons will leave Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale and move to a new home called Miami Freedom Park.
David Beckham said this about the stadium:
"After years of dreaming, it is very exciting to share that in 2026, Inter Miami CF will be moving to its long-term home at Miami Freedom Park."
- David Beckham
This stadium will be the house of Inter Miami, but it will also host important competitions like the 2026 World Cup. The Miami Freedom Park is meant to be a tourist place with a hotel, stores, and offices.
The Freedom Park will have a capability for 25 thousand fans. Five thousand more than Chase Stadium. The stadium will open its doors in 2026 and will maintain the slogan of the club: Freedom to live. Inter Miami started building their new home in August of last year.
Inter Miami's new stadium will developed into three phases. The first phase aims to establish a multifaceted complex that will benefit the club and create a recreational space for the Miami community. The second phase will focus on opening stores and additional entertainment for the fans.
The third and last phase will include more entertainment for the fans, converting Miami Freedom Park into a multifaceted center. With each step, Inter Miami demonstrates that its only priority isn't football but building a community around the club and the city, providing dreams and chances to grow in the South of Florida.
What is the only downside to this plan?
Many players like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Busquets end their contracts a year before the stadium comes to life. A new super stadium will be in Miami, but there are zero superstars to play in the new home.
¿Do you think this stadium could compared to the names of the Bernabeu or Camp Nou?
