Leonardo Campana Representing Ecuador

Messi isn’t the only Inter Miami player taking part in the CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup qualifying matches this month.

Leonardo Campana will play with Ecuador when they travel to Venezuela on November 16 at the Estadio Monumental de Maturin and when they host Chile at the Estadio de Liga Deportiva Universitaria in Quito on November 21.

Campana has 13 caps for Ecuador — most recently playing in a 1-0 win over Bolivia in a friendly in New York City.

Prior to that, he helped lead Ecuador to the CONMEBOL 2019 South American U-20 title and a third-place finish at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Ecuador is currently in sixth place in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying table, two points back of Columbia.
