Inter Miami Has Been Lucky, So Far

The Herons have nine players out for the international break — including Americans Drake Callender and Benjamin Cremaschi — although Callender did start for Inter Miami in Saturday’s 3-2 comeback win over Sporting Kansas City.

So far, only Gomez has a confirmed injury.

That said, Messi’s availability for Argentina’s qualifier against Bolivia on Tuesday is still up in the air.

Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni said , but a decision may come Monday as to whether he will play after being subbed off in the 89th minute of Argentina’s 1-0 win over Ecuador last week — where Messi scored the free-kick winner in the second half.

"Messi is going to travel to Bolivia. Today he trained differently, but there are still two days left until the game and we will make the decision tomorrow whether he plays or not. The team is going to be similar to the one that played against Ecuador."

The good news is that if Messi doesn’t play against Bolivia, he would be ready for Inter Miami’s next match at Atlanta United this weekend. The bad news is, if he does play, his minutes against the Five Stripes might be limited.
