World Cup Final Not In South Florida
In 2026, the biggest tournament in sports will come to the U.S., Mexico and Canada as North America will host the World Cup.
And cities across all three countries will host matches… including Miami.
Rumor has it, however, that Miami is not in the mix to host the final… which is one of the most-watched sporting events in the world.
Now, if this is the actual list, there are pros and cons to each of these three venues.
- SoFi draws in California — which is pretty soccer-crazy — along with western Mexico.
- AT&T Stadium is a great, centralized location that can pull fans from just about everywhere for the final.
- MetLife Stadium is in one of the largest media markets in the world in New York.
Probably can’t go wrong with any of these, but it would have been nice to have Miami in the mix.
Oh well.
