Three down -

David Ruiz (D+)

[KEN] Ruiz is talented and I'm excited to watch his development in pink and black, but this wasn't one of his better outings. It felt like he was trying to do too much (a problem we've seen a lot from the Miami native in his first senior-team season), over-dribbling, missing open teammates and turning over the ball.

[MATT] I'm with Ken here... I'm excited for a player of Ruiz's potential to finally realize it. However, against New York, that didn't happen.

He had an opportunity to add to his performance against FC Cincinnati and didn't... finding himself out of position most of the match.

I haven't lost hope in Ruiz, but Saturday against New York didn't do much to add to my confidence.
