Inter Miami, Japanese Cherry Blossoms and Vissel Kobe

The latest announcement for Inter Miami’s preseason tour takes them to Tokyo in February to take on Vissel Kobe of the Japan League.

The match will be on February 7 at the 60,000-seat Japan National Stadium.

Vissel Kobe is off of winning the J-League title this season — finishing seven points ahead of second-place Yokohama FM.

More specifically, many will know Vissel Kobe as the former club of Spanish star Andres Iniesta since 2018.

He left the Japanese side to play for Emirates Club of the UAE Pro League last season.

Iniesta was a long-time Barcelona teammate of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

The quad won a Champions League title and four La Liga crowns. Iniesta, Busquets and Alba all won the European Championship for Spain.

While Iniesta doesn’t play for Vissel Kobe, reports are that he will be in attendance for the match.
