No, Antoine Griezmann Isn’t Coming to Inter Miami Either
We’ve Been Here Before With Inter Miami Rumors
Remember former Liverpool and Barcelona standout Luis Suarez?
The forward mentioned an interest in joining his Barcelona teammates in South Florida and the world went nuts.
However, as we mentioned back in July, it wasn’t going to happen.
His contract with Brazilian side Gremio wasn’t set to expire for another year and there was no way his current team was going to let him out of his contract easily.
It didn’t happen.
Then, there was Andres Iniesta. He was planning to leave the friendly confines of Japan and catch the next flight out of Tokyo to Miami.
Yeah, that didn’t happen either as Iniesta decided to further his 40-year career (I kid, it’s not 40 years) with UAE side Emirates Club FC.
We’ve also seen Inter Miami linked to Neymar (didn’t happen), Sergio Ramos (also didn’t happen despite him being a good fit for the Herons) and Arturo Vidal (not going to happen).
Now, we can toss one more international superstar on the pile of players who may want to come to the United States to play, but it won’t be for Inter Miami.
