The Herons played Saturday’s match in Charlotte as though it were their last…which, thankfully, it was. For the final time this season, we spotlight the three Inter Miami players who played…better…and three who didn’t.

THREE UP

CJ Dos Santos, B+

The 23-year-old was fearless in his first action of the season, making several reckless forays far from goal to smother chances before they became shots. Good goalkeeping? Maybe not, but I appreciate the effort and decisiveness. Oh, Dos Santos did save three of four shots on goal. Drake Callender, who started 33 MLS matches for Inter Miami, doesn’t need to worry.
