Finally, good news for Inter Miami. These last couple of days, the Herons have been a rollercoaster of information. First, it is almost confirmed that Federico Redondo will be Elche's new signing.
Adding that Inter Miami reached an agreement with Charlotte FC for Drake Callender. The GK will part ways with the team after five years.
However, the Herons are aware of the defensive problems they have, and decided to try and sign Gonzalo Piovi from Cruz Azul.
Nevertheless, the biggest news for Inter Miami is that their captain returned to training with the group.

Is Lionel Messi playing for LA Galaxy?
There are two paths to answer this question. The first result indicates that Messi will play some minutes against LA Galaxy, to protect him and to ensure he is in the best possible shape for the quarterfinals against Tigres.
This season, the Galaxys are in last place in the Western Conference with only three wins. Knowing this, Javier Mascherano could decide to prioritize Messi's health and put other players on the bench to ensure a victory.
On the other hand, Inter Miami needs to win after the horrible loss against Orlando City to qualify for the playoffs. With the Heron's current form, it's a difficult task without their number ten.
Knowing that Lionel Messi always wants to play, don't seem surprised when Mascherano decides to take out a player to put Messi in the starting lineup.
If I had to guess what Mascherano will do, I would go with the second option: Lionel Messi will be a starter in both games.
The Herons need to return to that winning strike, and the way to do that is with Messi on the field.
